The Abercrombie & Fitch credit card is a branded credit card offered in conjunction with World Financial Network National Bank (WFNNB). WFNNB issues all Abercrombie & Fitch credit card accounts. You can apply for the card online or in person at your local Abercrombie & Fitch store location. As with any credit card offer there are advantages and disadvantages to obtaining the A&F credit card. Abercrombie & Fitch Credit Card Approval Criteria

The Abercrombie credit card application requires you to provide standard information such as your name, social security number, date of birth, address, and employment information. You many also have to produce a valid form of government identification. Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

You must also have a permanent United States mailing address to apply. You may apply as long as you are 18 years of age, however, if you are between 18 and 21 you must apply in writing—which includes online applications. You can also request to add an Authorized Buyer to your A&F account. Authorized Buyers are individuals who are allowed to make purchases on your account but are not responsible for payment of those purchases. This may be useful for adding children shoppers and not having to burden them with carrying cash.

If you apply for the AF credit card offer in-store and are approved, you may even receive a bonus one-time discount for same-day purchases, typically 10-20 % off.

    It would be great to have the card if it actually worked! I have been trying to use my card to place an order since the beginning of Sept. 1013 both online and by phone and the order cannot be completed using the A&F cc. Online the system looks for a security code, like on Visa/MC, which the cc does not have and by phone the order goes in, you get order # and then the cc is declined – why I don’t know! I have spoken to at least 6 different reps from both A&F and Comenity (who issues the card) and no results. Everyone says call the other. Too bad, people will have to shop elsewhere.
