As with all of the credit cards offered by Alabama Telco Credit Union (ATCU), this credit card is not a bad credit credit card. You do have to have good to perfect credit to qualify. You can have a few bumps but you can’t have any bankruptcies, foreclosures, or judgments on your credit report. You cannot have any recent missed or late payments in at least the past three years.

Overview of the Alabama Telco Visa Platinum Cashback Card

As mentioned above, this is a low interest rate credit card. In addition, there is an introductory APR of 4.99% for all new purchases, balance transfers and cash advances for the first six months after activation.

The rewards program for this card is simple. You will earn 1% cash back for all of your purchase totals. The downside is that you will receive your cash back only once a year; the good news is that there is no cap on how much cash back you can earn!

You do not have to be an ATCU member to apply for this card. Once you qualify, you can use the Telco Online service to manage your credit card, pay your bills and more. This card also comes with travel accident insurance anytime you use your card to purchase your tickets for your travel.

Terms of the Alabama Telco Visa Platinum Cashback Card

The terms for this card are easy because this is a no fee credit card. What this means is that you won’t be charged transaction fees, balance transfer fees or even ATM fees (owners of an ATM may charge you fees, however).

In addition, there isn’t a different APR for the different uses for your card. This means that if your interest rate is 12.99% for purchases, this is also the rate you will pay for balance transfers as well as your cash advances. This applies after the 4.99% APR expires, of course.
