The American Paint Horse Association Visa is both a reward credit card and an affinity credit card. You will earn one point for every $1 that you spend using your credit card. Points cannot be earned on cash advances or balance transfers, points can only be earned on new purchases.
There is a maximum amount of points that you can earn each year and that is 60,000. In addition, if you don’t use your points in 5 years after they were applied to your card you will lose those points. You can use your points to donate money to the American Paint Horse Association, for gift cards, cash, merchandise and more.
This is not a bad credit credit card and the minimum credit card limit for this card is $5,000, the maximum is $100,000. There is no annual fee for this card.
American Paint Horse Associate Credit Card Terms
In order to qualify for this card you need to have great to perfect credit. The APR range will be 13.24% to 19.24% for purchases and balance transfers. For cash advances, the APR will be 19.24% regardless of your credit score.
There is a penalty APR of 29.99%. This applies if you miss a payment or your payment method doesn’t clear. This APR will apply indefinitely to your credit card, meaning that it won’t go back down to your previous rate.
This card has no annual fee but there are balance transfer and cash advance fees. For balance transfers you will pay $5 or 3% and for cash advances, it will be $10 or 3%. Whichever amount is greater is the one that applies.
American Paint Horse Association Credit Card Verdict
While this isn’t a bad card, you do have to be a member of the American Paint Horse Association to qualify. Their membership fee is $40 a year.
