If I could give AT no stars, I would! It takes 30 minutes to navigate through all the menus to even get someone on the phone–once you do, my experience has been that they are rude and very slow. I’m calling from work to ask a simple question about my bill–there’s no reason I shouldn’t be able to do this without verifying my SSN, phone number, billing address, and CC number 4 times each. Just try asking for a supervisor–you’ll wait for them for another 20 minutes!!! A 5 minute phone call will end up taking well over an hour. And the rewards– they take FOREVER to accumulate! Forever!

I am closing this account as soon as I get my issue resolved!

I paid my bill on time. They claim there was a problem with my check, but no one could tell me what was the problem. They could not supply the check after multiple requests. My bank claims the check was never cashed, as funds were available to pay it.
The phone people were incompetent, even Melanie F the manager who would only say that she was located in the Midwest.
With service like that, I will NEVER shop in this store again and will tell all of my friends how awful Ann Taylor Loft is. In this economic environment, one would expect more efficient, helpful service and a more informed staff. They suck!!!

The $20 reward for 2000 points was totally a fraud.

When I was approaching the 2000 points, no matter how much purchase I made, the calculation for the reward points was never right. Three months later, I should have 2300 points accumulated while the statement says I’m still 200 points away from 2000.

How can I have negative points gain when I made nearly $100 purchase!!! They absolutely rip off the customer without making up a descent cheating story!!

I have shopped at Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor loft for years. The worst thing I could have done was open a mastercard with them. I’ve had nothing but problems with it. I’m closing my account.

Ann Taylor gets NEGATIVE stars from me. I have had to call 4x to resolve a single issue regarding rewards points i earned from a single promotion dating back 5 months. I have never recieved the right amount of rewards and I keep being told it is taken care of or someone will call me back and it NEVER happens. just to navigate thru thier phone system is a joke and when I do get through I have been placed on hold for an eternity every single time and I am fed up with thieir rude, icompetent behavior.
Today, I finally got a normal person who promised it was resolved (again) and gave me her direct # for future issues. Keeping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath!

I have had my Loft card for about 2 years, however today I’m considering canceling it. It’s become more of a pain than its worth. Every month I pay all my bills and my work expenses using my card, then I pay the entire balance off, no interest paid, but yet I get free clothes. HOWEVER, they tend to put my card on hold ALL THE TIME without notifying me, which I can not purchase anything until I call them and have them reactivate it and those purchases were correct (OMG AND YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM THE EXACT AMOUNT OF YOUR LAST PURCHASE); go through their annoying customer service answering machine. It takes me forever just to get a real live person on the phone. THIS IS THE CATCH ON THE REWARDS…. When you get your rewards card, they don’t send the cash cards you earned all at one time they break it up WITH EXPIRATION DATES. So you are not able to use 2 or 3 at the same time because they expire. They know when you go in you will end up spending more than what you get on thAT $20 dollar rewards card. Very smart of them! I had a expired $100.00 reward card, had to go out of town, when I got back it was expired. The store told me I could call the number on the back and they would issue me a new one, well guess what, after going through that annoying customer service answering machine again, they told me that was not true and that a lot of their stores have been telling their customers that and it is not true. Even though the store told me that, they still would not issue me a new rewards coupon. Its more work than you get for those rewards…. I don’t recommend.

My Loft Card (Mastercard is the worst). The website is ancient, and their accounts department take forever to do anything. The rewards expire quickly and there is no grace period! It takes them at least two months to reset your credit after you pay your bill (online through my credit union). If you try to phone them it is a nightmare. You will get email response much quicker, but they still can not problem solve. I now put all of my expenses on American Express and they rock. I am so over AT and AT Loft!
