While this credit card is not a bad credit credit card, it is available for people with bumpy credit who don’t have any bankruptcies or judgments on their credit report. What’s more, this card is also designed for people with perfect credit, which is reflected in its low starting interest rates.

Arizona Federal Credit Union Platinum Credit Card Overview

The Arizona Federal Credit Union Visa Platinum credit card is a low interest credit card. In addition, it is a rewards card in the respect that you can get deep discounts on certain products when you use the Visa Rewards website to make your purchases.

This is not a rewards card in the sense that you earn points for cash back or merchandise redemption. However, if you shop at the merchants at the Visa site, you could potentially save a great deal of money.

The downside is that in most cases you have to spend a certain amount of money to get the savings that they are offering. For example, save $10 on your next purchase of $75 at Ace.

You also have to be a member of the AFCU in order to apply for this card. You cannot apply for the card online; you must fill out a form and then mail it in to the bank.

AFCU has been an accredited business with the BBB since 1993. They have had no complaints in the last three years filed on this site.

Arizona Federal Credit Union Platinum Credit Card Terms

As mentioned above, this card is designed for a variety of credit levels. As such, the interest rates range between 7.74% for those with perfect credit to 17.99% for those with less than perfect credit. The rate for this card is variable and based on the Prime Rate.

There is a penalty APR if you miss a payment or your payment method bounces on this card. The penalty rate is 17.99% and your rate will revert to normal once you have made six consecutive payments on or before they are due.

There is no annual fee nor are their fees for balance transfers and cash advances.

Arizona Federal Credit Union Platinum Credit Card Verdict

This card offers great low interest rates and minimal fees. You do have to be a member of this credit union to apply for the card, however. In addition, their rewards program is a little lacking.
