Automatic Payment

An automatic payment is when a consumer gives authorization for regular payments to be withdrawn from their account to pay bills. For example, if you set your mortgage payment to automatic payment, each month when it is due, the amount of your mortgage payment will automatically be withdrawn from your account. This can make paying bills more convenient and also prevents late payments and the late fees associated with late payments.
