You can still apply for the Cartier Red Card, but you have to pick up the brochures at the Cartier boutique.
I’m not sure if Cartier wants it to be “exclusive” or not, but the whole application process is exceedingly cumbersome, and the benefits are unclear, at best. The only benefit is perhaps just the little red card with the Cartier logo in your wallet. And since it’s not a regular credit card, it’s pretty much useless elsewhere (other than Cartier).
In fact, i’ve applied for it, and I got it in the mail. The terms of use look like regular credit cards standard stuffs. But it doesn’t have visa or mastercard logo. And there’s no listing of what benefits of using this card either.
