As a business owner, you need to establish your own line of credit for your business. A rewards credit card can be even more beneficial for a business that uses their credit cards for daily spending only to pay it off at the end of the month. Of course, you also want a low interest credit card and you can get all of these benefits from the CEFCU Business Visa credit card.

The downside to this card is that you have to be a CEFCU Business member in order to qualify. For this to happen, your business must be located in Illinois. There are some ways around this, but it still means that you or your spouse works or lives in the areas specified by CEFCU.
CEFCU Business Visa Credit Card Overview
This is a rewards credit card that allows you to earn one point for every $1 that you spend. There are no bonus points or bonus purchases that you can make to earn additional points. Points can be redeemed for travel, gift cards, or merchandise.
There are several benefits to choosing this card. These benefits include:
- Online account management
- Fraud protection
- Free ATM use at CEFCU owned machines
- Roadside assistance
- Travel accident insurance
- Baggage delay insurance
- Rental car insurance
- Price protection insurance
- Phone banking
As a business owner, one major benefit to this card is you can limit the transaction types on employee cards. For example, if you want an employee to be able to purchase only office supplies with a business credit card, then you can limit the purchase type or you can go even further and limit the merchants, such as OfficeMax or Staples.
CEFCU Business Visa Credit Card Terms
CEFCU does not provide the APR terms for this credit card until you apply for the card, which you cannot do if you aren’t a member. In addition, they don’t supply the information you need to determine ATM fees, foreign transaction fees and so on.
CEFCU Business Visa Credit Card Verdict
You must provide personal information, such as your own social security number, in order to qualify for this card. In other words, you won’t be providing your D&B number and they won’t be running your business credit. The downside to this is that they aren’t separating your personal and business credit.
As a business owner, you will want to find credit cards that allow you to separate your personal credit from your business credit so neither one is affected adversely if something happens. This won’t be the best card for that.
