Chase Ink Bold vs Chase Ink CashIf you are looking for a credit card for your business , consider either the Chase Ink Bold or the Chase Ink Cash card. Both offer rewards for using it for your business purchases and other benefits.

Which card you choose will probably depend on how much you use the card, how much you spend with the card, and whether you are willing to pay an annual fee. Either way, it is important to have a card that is used only for your business expenses, as it helps you keep track from a tax perspective.

Chase Ink Bold Features

The Ink Bold card from Chase allows you to give cards out to your employees for free, as does the Ink Cash card. This allows points to build up faster because more people are using it for purchases. It also makes it easier for you as a business owner when it comes time for reimbursement for business-related purchases.

Chase Ink Bold Credit CardThe Bold card is a good credit card to have if you travel a lot, as it has premium rewards for travel. The amount of points that you get for the money that you spend will vary according to what your money is being used for.

With the Bold, for every dollar you spend you get a point. You get two points when you use the card at hotels and gas stations. You get five points for every dollar for office supplies, internet, cell phones, landline services, and cable television services. You can also get up to 50,000 points within your first three months of having the credit card. These rewards can be used for many things, including travel with no blackout dates.

Many cards charge you 3% for purchases made internationally, but they are waived for users of the Bold card.

The Ink Bold will cost you $95 per year, except for the first year which is free.

This is considered to be a charge card as opposed to a credit card because you pay the balance in full every month. Because of this there are no charges for interest and it also helps to keep you out of debt.

Chase Ink Cash Features

Unlike the Bold card, Ink Cash earns you rewards on a percentage basis. You get 1% back except at restaurants and gas stations where you earn 2% back, and 5% for supplies, cable, cell phones, and the internet.

You can also earn a cash bonus of $250. You get $100 after making your first purchase, and then you get another $150 if you spend $5,000 within the initial three months of using the card.

Unlike the Bold charge card, the Ink Cash is a credit card so there are interest rates associated with it. Fortunately there is not a fee for using the card on an annual basis.

With both the Bold and the Ink cards from Chase, you need to have a good credit history. If you have poor credit you will be denied the cards and will have to search for a more basic card that does not have rewards associated with it.

If having one of these cards is important for your business, you will need to start working on fixing your credit so that eventually you will be eligible. My Fico can give you tips as to how to fix any credit problems and start building your score up.
