Do not apply for China airlines credit card! It is a nightmare! They make you feel you are leaving in a third world country.
I have more than 230,000 miles! which means we spent $230,000 using this credit card. I want to buy two tickets from SF to Europe.
Today, without any exaggeration, I have been over the phone for more than 7 hours! I talked to the credit cad, china airline, their offices in LA, SF, the reservation, the membership, the reward program,… People are just giving me new phone numbers to call! It doesn’t matter what you say or do, I tried talking nicely and slowly, screaming, demanding, none of them worked!
China airline can’t see my correct mileages and it will take them 4 weeks to receive it. I guess they are still using horses for transportation!
Finally, I asked someone who was a little bit more willing to help to at least make a reservation for me and here is her response:
OH, our only partner Delta doesn’t have anything! I requested to buy two ticket for end of August and now we are in mid April!
Conclusion: You get nothing for your money! Absolutely nothing!
This is a nightmare, save yourself from lots of pain and waste of money and time. Never apply for this card.
