Terms of the Christian Community MAF Platinum Rewards Visa Credit Card
This credit card has no annual fee. The transaction fees for this card are very low compared to other rewards cards on the market today. There is only a 2% fee for cash advances and balance transfers. There is also a 1% fee for transactions made in foreign countries. If a payment is made late or returned the cardholder will be charged a penalty fee that could range anywhere from $15 to $25.
There is no interest rate for purchases for the first six months. After the first six month, the interest rate will have a minimum of 10.90% and a maximum of 16.90%. The special introductory interest rate for balance transfers is 3.90% for the first year.
After the first year, this interest rate will be the same as the rate for purchases. The interest rate for cash advances is also in this range, which is good since most cards have a much higher interest rate for cash advances.
Donating to the MAF with a Platinum Rewards Visa Credit Card
The cardholder earns rewards points with every purchase they make. Once the cardholder earns 10,000 points, they can start donating to the MAF. Each 10,000 points equals a $70 donation to the Mission Aviation Fellowship.
