Coors Credit Union Credit Card ReviewThe Coors Credit Union Credit Cards are credit cards offered by the Coors Credit Union, a Credit Union with a primary dedication to the Coors Brewery employees in Golden Colorado. You don’t, however, have to be a Coors Credit Union member to apply for their credit cards.

Coors Credit Union offers two different Visa credit cards: the Rewards Visa and the Summit Visa. As you may have guessed by the name, the Rewards Visa offers points for each dollar you spend. The Summit Visa is so named because of the breathtaking Summit photo on the front.

These credit cards require good to excellent credit in order to qualify. You will be unable to obtain approval for either of these cards if you have any late payments, collections, bankruptcies or your debt to owe ratio is too high.

The Rewards Visa is offered at a starting interest rate of 11.9%, which in today’s market is pretty good. The Summit Visa, however, starts even lower at 7.9%. This is a no frills card, however, which means that there are no rewards points to be collected for your purchases.

Details of the Coors Credit Union Credit Card

In order to qualify for the low 7.9% interest rate for the Summit Visa, you must be member of the Coors Credit Union. In addition, you are also required to have direct deposit and receive your bills via email. If you don’t meet these criteria, then the Summit Visa’s APR will be higher to start.

Remarkable Rates on the Coors Credit Union Credit Card

For both Coors Credit Union credit cards, there are no annual fees and there are no fees for cash advances or transfer fees. This is an exceptional value that very few credit card companies offer. The rewards points you earn on your Rewards Visa never expire; a great benefit in reward credit cards.

The only fees that you will be required to pay are late payment fees, over the limit fees, and returned payment fees. Even these are far below industry standards at $15 for being late or over your limit and $20 for a returned payment.

Are these Coors Credit Union Credit Cards Right for You?

As mentioned before, both of these credit cards require good credit. If, however, you meet the requirements, both of these cards offer great value. They offer no fees and high limits and are an excellent choice for those of you with great credit.
