Credit Card Number

A credit card number is a unique numeric code which is imprinted onto the credit card. The first six digits of the credit card number are referred to as the issuer identification number and are used to identify the issuer of the card such as Discover or Visa. The remaining digits of the credit card number are unique to each individual credit card.
