While this isn’t a bad credit credit card, many people who cannot get a traditional credit card with a decent credit limit may find that they can with this card. While this credit card is not a rewards card, it does offer you a six months no interest offer for all new purchases over $249. This is not an introductory offer, this applies to any purchase over $249, and it is an ongoing offer that will apply at least through December 2011 and perhaps longer.
However, the catch here is that if you don’t pay off your balance in that six months timeframe, the interest will accrue retroactively on the entire purchase price. Even if you have paid some of it off, you will pay the interest on the total purchase.
You will receive special offers and savings not available to people who don’t have this credit card. However, this is not a rewards card, so you can’t earn anything extra by earning points.

Because this isn’t a traditional credit card, the terms for this card won’t include things like ATM fees, international transaction fees and so on. What you will find are:

- No annual fee
- Late payment fee – $15 to $35 – cannot exceed the total balance on your credit card
- Returned payment fee – $35

As with any department store credit card, the interest rate for this card is too high. If you can qualify for a low interest credit card, then avoid getting this card unless you cannot get the higher credit limit that you need from a more traditional source.
