The Credit First National Association Plaza Tire credit card is a department store credit card. What this means is that you cannot use it at any other locations except for those owned by the Plaza Tire Center. You will find that this company is located in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, and Kentucky.
Credit First National Association Plaza Tire Credit Card Overview
This is not a low interest credit card. As a department store card, you can expect that even those of you with perfect credit will pay over 20% in interest rates. In fact, this is almost, but not quite, a bad credit credit card. If you have fair credit, you will likely be able to qualify for this card, although it might be at a lower credit limit than is completely useful.
This is a credit card that doesn’t have the same terms as other credit cards. However, Credit First is still required to adhere to the credit card rules by the Federal Reserve in regards to fees.
Unfortunately, this is not a rewards credit card. Many department store credit cards allow you to earn points for your purchases and then use those points for discounts or gift cards to the store, but that is not the case here. There is, however, the ability to earn no interest for six months on any purchases over $249.
Credit First National Association Plaza Tire Credit Card Terms
The terms for this card include a 22.8% fixed APR as well as a $15 to $35 late payment fee. The late payment fee depends upon your actual card balance. If you have a returned payment, then the fee can be up to $35. There are no other fees, such as a penalty APR, that you have to worry about.
Credit First National Association Plaza Tire Credit Card Verdict
As with any high interest credit card, you should consider whether you could get a lower interest card before considering this option. A high interest rate on a high credit card balance can add up to hundreds of dollars a year in interest. If you cannot get a card with a lower interest rate, then this card is an okay option.
