Credit Inquiry

A credit inquiry is an attempt to obtain information regarding someone’s credit history. Each time a credit record is pulled by a borrower, a lender or a potential lender it creates a record in the consumer’s credit report. Multiple credit inquiries can negatively impact a person’s credit score.
