A debit card is a card that is tied to a bank account and is used to withdraw money from the account. When using a debit card, customer’s often have a choice of authorizing the transaction by entering their PIN or by signature. Debit cards differ from credit cards in that a credit card is using a loan while a debit card is withdrawing money from a bank account.
