1-2-3 REWARDS MasterCard – The Rewards Program
This rewards card is a bit different from other rewards cards. To begin, you will receive one point for every $1 you spend on your Visa card. When you use your card at one of the Kroger family of stores, you will receive two points for every $1 you spend. If you buy Kroger brand products, you will receive three points for every $1 you spend.
The Kroger family of stores includes:
- City Market
- King Soopers
Your points are redeemable for gift cards to any of the Kroger family of stores and they are sent automatically every quarter to your home.
What’s unique about the 1-2-3 REWARDS card is that it also acts as your shopper’s card. What this means is that when you use your card, any discounts that you would usually get while using your store VIP card would automatically apply, you don’t have to carry around multiple cards in other words.
1-2-3 REWARDS MasterCard – The Card Terms
When you apply for the card, you are provided with six options for the face of your card. These options are simply your choice of which store you want to be listed on the front of your card.
The terms of each card includes:
- 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for 9 months
- 13.99% – 23.99% variable APR for purchases and balance transfers after 9 months
- 25.24% variable APR for cash advances
- No penalty APR
- No annual fee
- $10 or 4% fee, whichever is greater, for balance transfers, check cash advance, ATM use, and cash advance
1-2-3 Rewards MasterCard – The Verdict
This isn’t a bad card, as it has a low interest rate to start. However, it is not a bad credit credit card and the rewards program in very limited in terms of redemption. There are low interest credit cards with more flexible rewards programs, if you are interested.
