Terms of the FIBRE Federal Credit Union Visa Platinum Credit Card
For the first six months the credit card is active, the cardholder will enjoy a 1.9% annual percentage rate. After the introductory period has ended, the cardholder will have a fixed interest rate of 8.9%. This is an extremely low rate and a credit card with a fixed interest rate is very hard to come by in today’s market.
This interest rate will be applied to purchases and balance transfers. The credit cash advance rate is a bit more at 10.5%. There is no annual fee and no fee for making a balance transfer or cash advance. Foreign transactions are only charged a one percent fee. There is no fee for going over the credit limit, but if the cardholder makes a payment late, they will be charged $15. If a check is returned, they will be charged $10.
The Terms of the FIBRE FCU Visa Classic Credit Card
The only difference between the Visa Platinum and Visa Classic credit cards offered by the FIBRE Federal Credit Union in the annual percentage rate. The interest rate for the Visa Classic card is a 10.5% fixed rate for balance transfers and purchases. So with this card, the interest rate for purchases, balance transfers, and cash advances is the same amount.
