The First Financial Federal Credit Union of Maryland offers three credit card types. They offer the Visa credit card, the Visa First Start credit card, and the Visa Secured credit card. They do not offer a Visa Preferred credit card, however.

The First Financial FCU did at one time offer a Preferred Visa credit card. However, the company made the decision to only offer one low interest Visa credit card and eliminated all of their other similar programs.

The Visa Preferred credit card was a low interest credit card. It was a credit card only for people with very good to perfect credit. This credit card was not a rewards credit card, however, but the regular Visa credit card is a rewards credit card.
It is likely that this credit card came with very low fees. What this means is that financial transaction fees, ATM fees, late payment fees and so on were probably all very reasonable. You could make this deduction simply because credit unions in general tend to have the lowest fees.
When the new credit card rules came out from the Federal Reserve, it is unlikely that this credit union had to make any changes to their current fees.

A credit union can be an excellent way to get a great low interest credit card. As with most credit unions, you do have to be a member of this credit union in order to qualify for any of their credit cards. This is a credit union that offers their services to educators and federal employees, so if you don’t meet these criteria, you will be unable to apply.

It is safe bet to say that this credit card is not for any one, as it does not exist. However, this credit union does offer other credit cards for which you can consider and apply for if qualified.
