There are three possible annual percentage rates for this card that are determined by your credit score. The interest rate options are 7.25%, 13.25%, and 15.25%. So the higher the cardholder’s credit score, the lower the amount of interest they will have to pay every month.

No matter what their regular interest rate will be all First Interstate Bank Visa Platinum Scorecard cardholders will enjoy a low 3.99% interest rate for the fist six months they have this credit card. These rates apply to credit card balance transfers and purchases as well. If the cardholder makes a cash advance they will be charged 24.25% in interest.

The cardholder needs to also know that this card has a penalty interest rate. If the cardholder is late by even one monthly payment, their regular interest rate will jump to 29.24%. This is a very big jump especially if the cardholder is used to the low 7.25% interest rate. The interest rate will stay at 29.24% until six credit card payments in a row are paid on time.

Fees with the First Interstate Bank Visa Platinum ScoreCard Credit Card

There is no annual fee associated with this credit card. The transaction fee for balance transfers if 3% with a minimum charge of $10. The fee for cash advances and credit card checks is 4% also with a minimum charge of $10. The foreign transaction fee is 3%.
