Being a credit union member has a lot of benefits. It is not difficult to become a member of the Forth Worth CCU; in fact, if you live in the Fort Worth area you are probably eligible for membership. The counties that the credit union serves are Denton, Johnson, Parker, and Tarrant and you can apply for membership if you work, live, or attend school in any of those counties.

One of the good things about being a member of Forth Worth CCU is that you are eligible for their low interest credit cards, which carry a lower rate than many other cards. The Visa Gold is no exception.

For the first six months, you will enjoy a low APR of 7.9% and after that period of time your APR will be a fixed rate of only 10.9%. This interest rate only applies if you carry a credit card balance from month-to-month. If you do not pay off your balance on a monthly basis, the interest rate will start accruing the same day your account posts your credit card purchase.
