Fraudulent Transaction

Any credit card transaction that was not authorized directly by the cardholder is considered to be a fraudulent transaction. Fraudulent transactions can fit in to various categories. Some of these categories are lost, stolen, card not received, fraudulent processing of transactions, issued on a fraudulent application, counterfeit, and account takeover.
