HFS FCU Visa Classic Credit Card Features

The classic Visa card available from HFS is accepted all over the world and is accompanied by a fairly low interest rate of 11.9%. The credit limits starts at $500 and maxes out at $10,000.

There is a period of 25 days during which you have to pay your credit card bill before interest begins accruing. If you do carry a balance from month to month, the minimum payments due every month are on the low end of typical payment amounts.

With the classic Visa card you may be able to build up points to be used for a variety of rewards. The credit union uses the Scorecard Rewards program to keep track of points and offer rewards.

HFS FCU Membership Information

If you reside in Hawaii on the Big Island, you are eligible for membership in the HFS Credit Union. You can also become a member if you go to school, work, volunteer, or worship on the island. Members of particular associations or organizations are eligible as well.

If you have family members who are already members of the credit union, you are free to apply for membership. A membership fee of only $1 is required to start an account but you must keep a minimum balance of $50 in your account to keep your account open.
