The Kidney Cancer Association is a group of health professionals, kidney cancer patients, family members, and other supporters whose mission is to help fund research, educate others about kidney cancer, and provide support services for patients and their families.
CardPartner helps to fund the association’s activities by donating $50 for every new, activated account. Ongoing donations are also made, calculated as a percentage of retail purchases by card holders.

Kidney Cancer Association Credit Card APRs and Fees
The Kidney Cancer Association Visa provides for a standard APR of 12.99% variable. The rate fluctuates according to the Prime rate as published periodically by the Wall Street Journal. For cash advances the rate is 16.99% variable, and for balance transfer credit card transactions, expect 12.99% to 16.99% depending on credit performance.
There is no annual fee for this card, and approved applicants with good credit will enjoy a six-month introductory APR of 0% on retail purchases. They will also be eligible for no transaction fees on balance transfers during the same period.
A penalty APR of 21.75% is applied if payments are late, but it can be reduced with six consecutive months of timely payments. Transaction fees and penalty fees are in line with industry averages.

Benefits of the Kidney Cancer Association credit card include such Visa Platinum standards as liability protection against fraudulent purchases, purchase security, warranty protection on some merchandise, rental car collision coverage, travel accident coverage, online account access, and 24-hour emergency customer service.
