Minnesota State University Alumni Credit Card – Platinum MasterCard
The MSU MasterCard is a WorldPoints MasterCard eligible for standard WorldPoints benefits. Credit worthiness determines an introductory interest rate which can be from seven to ten months. This introductory rate is 0% on all net purchases and balance transfer credit card activity. The standard APR is in keeping with industry averages, at 12.99% to 20.99%. The APR for cash advances is 24.24%. There is no annual fee and no penalty APR.
The MSU MasterCard’s reward credit card points are based on Bank of America’s WorldPoints program. Earned points are redeemed for merchandise, discounted shopping and dining, discounted airline tickets from participating airlines, and cash back credit card rewards. Minnesota State University Alumni Credit Card – Visa
The MSU Alumni Visa card carries the same rates and terms as the MasterCard, and is also part of Bank of America’s WorldPoints program.

Balance transfers, cash advances, bills paid with the card, and other similar transactions are not eligible to earn points. There is no limit on the number of points that can be earned, and points are valid for five years.
