This credit card has a variable interest rate, which means that the annual percentage rate the cardholder will pay varies based on their credit score and the current credit prime rate. Depending on their creditworthiness, the cardholder will be charged 7.99%, 9.99%, or 10.99% for purchases and balance transfers.

The interest rate for cash advances is the same no matter how good or bad the cardholder’s credit score is. Cash advances carry a 17.9% interest rate. There is no minimum interest charge or penalty interest rate with this Platinum Visa.

If the cardholder chooses the Visa Platinum card with the rewards program, their interest rate for purchases and balance transfers will be slightly higher at 8.99%, 10.99%, or 11.99%. The interest for cash advances on the credit card will stay at 17.9%.

There are very few fees associated with this credit card.

There is no annual fee, balance transfer fee, cash advance fee, return payment fee, or over-the-limit fee.

There is a penalty fee for making late payments.

The late payment fee is determined by the outstanding credit card balance. Balances up to $1,000 have a $15 late fee, balances between $1,000 and $2,000 have a $20 late fee, and balances over $2,000 have a $25 late fee.
