The current introductory offer for the National Geographic credit card is 0% APR for 6 months on purchases and balance transfer credit card transactions. The interest rate increases to 13.24%, 16.24% or 19.24% depending on your credit score.

The rewards credit card program offers you 1 point for every $1 you spend on the card. These points can be redeemed for travel credit card rewards, cash, merchandise and more. There are no bonus points when you first use your card.

The National Geographic MasterCard is a good credit credit card, for people with good to excellent credit. They offer a great rewards program as well as beautiful choices for the cover of the credit card.

There have been some complaints from cardholders with this card regarding unexpected increases in their interest rates. If you hold high balances on other credit cards, then it is possible, even if you still have excellent credit, that your interest rates will increase to the maximum 19.24%.
