The term pay-to-pay is used to describe the practice of charging the credit card user a fee to process their credit card payments. The pay-to-pay practice often occurs on the high-risk credit cards that are issued to people who have the lesser credit ratings. At times, the pay-to-pay practice is also used to cover expenses by the credit card companies who offer the low interest rates or cash back incentives with their cards.
