Personal Representative

Banks around the world have people with whom customers can check in and ask questions. These staff members are called personal representatives because they are charged with giving people all of the information they need to proceed with transactions, open and close accounts, and operate online systems, among other things. Personal representatives can often be reached by phone or in person, and there are some banks that even allow people to chat with such staff members online via instant messaging systems.
