Plastic is a code word, slang, or term for credit card. Now that we are all advancing to credit and making cash almost obsolete, we should become familiar with the new slang.
“Plastic” or credit cards, are what 80% of people use in the United States. Is that maybe why we are in such debt today? Most likely yes. We do not see the money, therefore we do not see the debt involved either.
So when someone at a cash register asks you what method of payment you would like to choose, tell them plastic and they definitely will know what you are talking about. Just remember that piece of plastic is dangerous if used improperly, so watch your spending!
