It does not appear that the PNC Everyday Rewards Visa credit card is currently available, but this program did offer some of the highest cash back reward incentives of its time. PNC credit cards are usually offered only to individuals that have a good credit history as well as a relationship with the bank. The PNC Everyday Rewards Visa card gave cardholders bonuses just for making regular purchases such as groceries, gas, and toiletries.

Although the rewards benefits are numerous, it was sometimes difficult to understand how many points each purchase could earn. For example, several types of purchases, such as those for movie theater tickets, had a monthly maximum cap on the number of points that could be accumulated. PNC may have discontinued this credit card to offer the PNC CashBuilder Visa credit card in its place.
PNC Everyday Rewards Visa Fees and Interest Rates
For the first nine months, new account holders paid 0% interest on the PNC Everyday Rewards Visa card. Once the introductory period expired, the APR changed to 11.99 to 19.99% interest. The rate for cash advances was set at 21.99% interest and balances transferred were subject to a 3% finance fee on top of the regular APR.
Any late payments owed on the PNC Everyday Rewards Visa card could be assessed at $39 per billing period. When cardholders requested a balance transfer, they were charged a fee that ranged from $10 up to 4% total on the next billing cycle.

Finance expert Suze Orman tells consumers that applying for variable interest rate credit cards can be a gamble because there are no guarantees. However, cardholders are given the option of opting out if they do not want to agree to a change in interest rates. Initially, the PNC Everyday Rewards Visa appeared to offer low interest credit cards, but the interest rate could have been increased at any time.
The PNC line rewards credit cards give consumers only one way of getting their cash back. Every time the total amount of points totaled to $100, a check was issued to the name of the cardholder and sent to the address on file.
