Processing Date

When the credit card issuers bill the credit card users for their monthly fees or payments, this bill money is transferred to the lending institution that has sanctioned the line-of-credit on the credit card.

When the payment arrives at the financial institution, it might take a day or two before the payment is processed if the bank or lending service is closed at the time that the payment arrives. The processing date on a credit card payment is when the lender processes the payment.
