Quicken Credit Card Quicken is a household name in personal business finance software. But to the surprise of many, Quicken also offers a list of financial services including credit cards. The Quicken credit card is a Rewards Visa card offered to consumers in conjunction with Chase, the issuer and manager of the card.

The Quicken credit card is a rewards credit card designed to encourage purchases of Intuit products and services at sites like Quicken.com and others. You may apply online by visiting the Quicken or Chase web sites and following the links. The application is a brief, single page form that can be completed in a matter of minutes. If you are automatically approved by the system, you’ll be eligible to use the card immediately for purchases on the Quicken website.

Quicken Credit Card Details

The Quicken credit card carries no annual fee and modest APRs in comparison to others on the market. The standard APR for purchases and balance transfer credit card transactions is a variable 13.24% to 16.24%. For cash advance credit cards, the APR is 19.24% while the penalty APR is 29.99%.

Transaction fees are on par with industry average except where cash advances are concerned. The cash advance fee is $10 or 3% of the transaction, whichever is greater. Balance transfers incur a fee of $5 or 3% and foreign transactions are at 3%. Fees from late payments, exceeding credit limit, and returned payments are all $35.

Quicken Credit Card Rewards Program

The Quicken rewards credit card program is similar to points reward programs on many other popular credit cards. Cardholders earn points for every purchase which can be redeemed at a later date.

In this case, five points are earned for every dollar spent at any of Intuit’s product web sites. Two points are earned for every dollar spent with participating select pharmacies, office supply stores, and gas stations. One point is earned for every dollar spent everywhere else.

Points can be redeemed for gift certificates from Quicken, Amazon.com , Starbucks, Blockbuster, and many other well-known retailers. They can also be redeemed for airline travel credit card benefits and cash back.
