Skimming is when dishonest people use an electronic device to steal credit card information. This happens every day to unsuspecting victims.

Credit card skimming can happen at an ATM, restaurant, or even at just a store. If there is someone who is dishonest working there they can use the device when no one is looking. Credit card users should pay attention to their credit card activity to be sure that no one is using their information.

When stolen the information is often used to purchase items off of the internet and sent to a P.O. box.
