The official University of Illinois credit card is offered by the U of I Employees Credit Union. There are three card faces to choose from including a logo card with the college in the background, a retro football player, and a card with an opened arm statute in front.

The University of Illinois credit card benefits the University of Illinois Alumni Association. Every time you use your card a donation will be made the Alumni Association by the UIECU. You do not have to be a member of the UAII or the UIECU in order to qualify for this card; you do have to have great to excellent credit, however.

University of Illinois Credit Card Considerations
The interest rates start at 3.9% to 12.9% fixed, for 12 months. After that the APR will be 12.9% to 17.9% fixed. Your interest rates will depend on your credit score. However, you must have great to excellent credit to qualify. You cannot have any late payments, collections or judgments on your full 7 years of credit history!
If you make a late payment on your card, then you will lose your introductory APR. If you make two late payments, you may lose your credit card.
