Utilization Ratio

Utilization ratio, sometimes called the balance-to-limit ratio, compares the total credit of the borrower to the amount being requested for loan. This is used when figuring an individual’s credit score. A lower ratio means that there is a lot of credit without a lot of debt, so the credit score will increase.
